With more and more car owners refitting their cars into "sanitation garbage truck, sprinkler truck, manure truck, etc.,", the potential safety hazard has also increased significantly, some of the irregular modifications lead to the decline of vehicle service life. Here are ten tips for you about refitting garbage trucks.

Ten common sense of refitting garbage truck!
、 After the chassis is refitted, the axle load mass of the front and rear axles shall not exceed the maximum axle load mass allowed by the chassis.

、 The total mass of the three wheeled garbage truck shall not be greater than the maximum load mass calibrated by the chassis used, and shall not be less than 90% of the maximum allowable total mass.

、 All refitted vehicles and changes to garbage trucks shall be implemented in accordance with the current national laws and regulations.

、 The refitting manufacturer shall be responsible for the design, manufacture and safety of all modified parts of the device; be responsible for the correctness of the connection between the modified part and the chassis bearing system and power take-off system, and shall not affect the safety of the whole vehicle due to the general layout design of the modified part.

、 The refitting factory should not dismantle, change, weaken and destroy the original structural parts of the chassis for the purpose of installing the modified parts, or cause serious stress concentration due to the impact of the chassis load.

、 Enough maintenance space should be reserved for the refitting part, so that the inspection, maintenance, lubrication, replacement and disassembly of relevant parts have good proximity. If necessary, the chassis of the carriage type vehicle shall be provided with corresponding movable cover plate for maintenance.

、 When the modified vehicle is running and the refitted part is in any motion state, it should be ensured that there is no friction, collision and interference between the modified part and the original chassis components.

、 Pay attention to reduce the center of gravity height (including bearing mass) of the refitted part as far as possible, and ensure that the axle load distribution of each axle does not exceed the maximum allowable axle load determined by the factory, so as to avoid the unbalanced load between each axle and the left and right wheels.

、 When the selected chassis is a tilting cab, the cab shall be turned over smoothly after modification.

、 The driving braking and steering performance of the sanitation vehicle shall not be affected due to modification.
